Terms & Conditions

The Client will complete a booking form confirming the chosen package and details. Upon receipt, the Photographer will provide details of the required non-transferable, non-refundable booking fee (“Booking Fee”).

Payment of the Booking Fee confirms the booking and acceptance of these Terms.

The Booking Fee may be up to 15% of the total project fees up to £1,300 and will be deducted from the final balance.

Payment terms are strictly 30 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.

Late payments may incur interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 or 8% above the Bank of England base rate.

Additional goods must be paid for in full at the time of ordering.

• Changes to the agreed brief or duration
• Client delays causing extended coverage
• Incorrect booking information or failure to attend
• Cancellation or postponement
• Congestion charges, tolls, parking costs
• Mileage beyond 80 miles round trip (45p per mile)

If a job is larger than expected, the Photographer reserves the right to revise the fee. Work may pause until agreement is reached.

Jobs affected by lighting or venue restrictions may incur additional charges.

Unless agreed in advance, the Client may not reject work based on style or composition.

• Less than 5 business days: 25%
• 3–4 business days: 50%
• Less than 48 hours: 75%
• Less than 24 hours: 100%

The Photographer may also charge any expenses already incurred.

The Photographer retains full artistic licence. Coverage is based on professional judgement.

Special requests are not binding and cannot be guaranteed.

Equipment is maintained and backed up, but no liability is accepted for images lost to technical failure.

Venue restrictions and permissions are the Client’s responsibility.

• Client for Life: One 90-minute session annually
• Family Session: Up to 90 minutes
• Engagement Session: Up to 60 minutes

Travel within one hour of Plymouth is included unless otherwise stated.

Images will be delivered digitally within 6 weeks via a secure portal and remain available for 60 days.

The Photographer is not obliged to retain images beyond this period unless agreed.

All images remain the copyright of Mike Lister Photography.

Clients receive a limited licence for personal or agreed commercial use only.

Raw files remain the property of the Photographer unless otherwise agreed.

Liability is limited to the return of fees paid, except where prohibited by law.

Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

All personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR. Please refer to the Privacy Policy.
