A Clear Look at Your Roof, Without Climbing Up
If you’ve spotted a damp patch, lost a tile in a storm or are buying an older home, it helps to see the roof before anyone climbs up. I fly a small drone over your home and photograph every roof face, ridge, chimney and gutter in sharp detail.
You get a photographic inspection your roofer can quote from. It’s quicker, safer and cheaper than putting up ladders or scaffolding just to have a look, and you can share the photos with anyone you like.
Please note: drone inspection photos and reports are a photographic record, not a structural, roofing or RICS building survey. A qualified roofer or surveyor should assess any issues they show.
What I Check
Every Roof Check covers the whole roof, so nothing is missed. Just tell me if there’s anything you’re particularly worried about.
Roof faces and ridges
Every slope of the roof, plus ridge and hip tiles, photographed from above and at an angle.
Slipped or cracked tiles
Close-ups of any missing, slipped, cracked or lifted tiles and slates.
Flashing and valleys
Lead flashing around chimneys, walls and roof lights, and the valleys where roof slopes meet.
Chimneys
Stacks, pots, pointing and flaunching, which are hard to see from the ground.
Gutters and downpipes
Blocked, sagging or overflowing gutters, and the tops of downpipes.
Solar panels and flat roofs
Panels, fixings and the roof around them, and flat roofs on extensions, garages and dormers.

Quote & Airspace Check
Tell me your address and what you’re concerned about. I check the airspace, weather and access, then confirm your price, usually the same day.
Flight Planning & Permissions
I plan a safe flight, register it with Altitude Angel and contact air traffic control or the landowner where needed. You don’t need to arrange anything.
Safe, CAA-Licensed Flight
I fly under my CAA Operational Authorisation with specialist drone insurance. A roof check is usually 15–20 minutes in the air, and you don’t need to be home.
